NECK
PAIN
Neck pain is a very common complaint seen by our physiotherapists. It is most often caused by poor posture and stress. Sustained forward head positions or 'poke-neck' posture whilst sitting at a desk is often identified as being a source of tight muscles causing neck pain and related headaches. Neck pain may also be caused by trauma such as whiplash from a car accident or sporting injuries.
Signs and symptoms that may be related to conditions arising from the neck:

-
Pain in the neck or shoulder
-
Pain radiating down the arm
-
Pins and needles
-
Headaches
-
Dizziness
-
Stiffness in the neck

Our physiotherapists are highly experienced and fully-equipped to treat your neck pain and the conditions that may be contributing to it. They will provide you with a tailored treatment program including hands-on manual therapy, a specific exercise program and appropriate education and advice to help reduce the likelihood of your neck pain reocurring.
