COVID-19 is a respiratory illness caused by a new virus. 

Symptoms range from a mild cough to pneumonia. Some people recover easily, other's don't. This new virus is spread from person to person, however good hygiene and awareness can prevent infection. You can learn more about Covid-19 here.

As a health and wellness clinic, Origin operates with water-tight infection control policies and procedures, however in light of these recent developments we are implementing additional health precautions. The following precautions are in the best interests of our patients, team and community:

• Additional hygiene precautions have been implemented to prevent the spread of germs, including the disinfecting of surfaces frequently

• All visitors are encouraged to use the available hand sanitiser in-clinic

• Encouraging heightened hygiene awareness, including sneezing into tissues or elbows rather than hands. 

• Avoiding physical contact where possible: We're waving, saluting, and smiling to say hello rather than handshakes and high-fives.

• We're still providing hands-on treatment but avoiding close contact when possible. 

• Requesting that if you are not well (sore throat, flu symptoms, cough), please contact us to reschedule your appointment. Please do not enter the clinic. Easy!
